“Digital Agro” (DO “URALCHEM”), “Agrosignal” and the Cognitive Pilot (part of the SberX ecosystem) will create a unified agro-ecosystem for accelerated digitalization of Russian agriculture as part of a strategic partnership. The partnership will lead to the emergence of a unique product combining full-cycle agro-ERP and unmanned technology control of equipment. The first implementation of the joint product is planned in 2020.

The solution will be a hardware and software complex for unmanned control of equipment, collection, processing and conversion of telemetry data, as well as the conduct of all economic activities of the company in a single digital circuit.

The total volume of products and services sold by the parties to the agreement will amount to 20 billion rubles. per year by 2023. The parties expect to introduce their technologies in 30% of farms in the agricultural market in the amount of over 20 million hectares.

Agroecosystem includes:

  • Interface, Big Data analysis and processing algorithms, as well as digital applications for users from “Digital Agro”.
  • Cognitive Agro Pilot hardware and software system - an autonomous control system for agricultural machinery (combine harvester, tractor, sprayer) based on artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
  • The digital platform “Agrosignal” (today - the core of the Digital Agro ecosystem), which will also act as an integrator of the three technologies into a single agro-ERP.

Using the agroecosystem, farms will be able to solve all practical problems in one interface and use the accumulated agronomic knowledge and modern technologies in the field of soil science, rationally use the equipment and increase control over the implementation of agricultural and operational work.

Users will be able to control crop rotation on the basis of historical data, soil and climate knowledge in their farm using the “Digital Agro” application on the tablet, using a constantly updating data array from sensors installed on agricultural machinery. Digital control of all processes and data will allow us to set precise tasks for machine operators and monitor their progress in real time.

In addition, agricultural machinery will be equipped with technologies for partial autonomy of control - the machine operator will only have to control the operating mode of the attached equipment.

Nikolay Bobrov, CEO of “Digital Agro”: “Partnership with leading market players and the creation of a unified agroecosystem is the next step for “Digital Agro” in building an open digital services system with an open entrance for all agricultural participants and a competitive environment. It is important to emphasize that in the process of work a common protocol for working with data will be created, which can be used in the future for collaboration with other enterprises in the Digital Agro ecosystem and outside its contour. ”

Olga Uskova, CEO and founder of Cognitive Pilot: “We believe that complex solutions collected into ecosystems can bring maximum value to a client. In this partnership, the leaders of the directions gathered to create a truly breakthrough product that will change the course of development of the entire industry! Artificial intelligence technologies permeate all new industries, transferring them to a fundamentally new level of development. We are pleased to be at the head of these changes with our new partners. ”

Vladimir Korshunov, CEO of “Agrosignal”: “Today there are many digital solutions on the agricultural market but the potential for digitalization in the industry is still huge. We believe that leadership in this direction will go to those who offer the most complete range of opportunities, a convenient format for use and cover all processes - agronomic, operational, managerial - of the life of enterprises. ”

Deep digitalization of processes will help farms reduce risks and increase potential productivity in preparation for the season, reduce the cost of work by reducing non-production and production losses. The use of Digital Agro services and solutions will help increase efficiency and reduce costs up to 20% by consolidating and managing farm data in real time, while Cognitive Agro Pilot technology will reduce crop losses by 3% and increase harvesting speeds by 25%. The cumulative effect of the introduction of all agroecosystem technologies will additionally help reduce direct and indirect costs by an average of another 13%.

According to Markets and markets, by 2026, the global AI market in the agricultural sector is about $ 1 billion and will increase to $ 4 billion by 2026. At the same time, PS Market Research predicts that the AI market in the agricultural sector will be more than $ 11.2 billion by 2030.

In Russia, the digitalization of agriculture is taking place as part of the “Digital Agriculture industry project” developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. According to “Digital Agro”, only 15% of agricultural companies in the country today use breakthrough digital technologies in their work. On May 20, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to develop a number of measures to digitalize agriculture: “We need high rates in the development of infrastructure and the social sphere of the village. We need modern, safe roads and engineering networks and, of course, the development of digital infrastructure, which is in demand both by citizens and business,” the president said.

About companies

“Digital Agro” LLC, a strategic partner of “URALCHEM” Holding P.L.C. and “Uralkalii” PJSC, is developing an ecosystem for all agricultural participants, consisting of products and services that are peer-to-peer in nature, but subordinate to a single logic. The ecosystem is built as an open system for all agricultural industry participants to connect based on an IT platform with a competitive environment built on an uberized model. By connecting to the Digital Agro ecosystem, a user gains access to all products and services in one place at once.

The “Digital Agro” ecosystem includes “Subsidies and Reporting” software, the anti-crisis tool for the adaptive farming system “Agrosupport”, and the digital agribusiness management platform “Agrosignal”.

Today, “Digital Agro” is the leader in the digital transformation of agriculture in the Russian Federation. “Digital Agro” uses solutions in 38 regions of Russia. The use of ecosystem technologies can reduce costs up to 15% and increase production profitability up to 20%, fully revealing the potential of natural fertility of the earth.

“InfoBiS” LLC (“Agrosignal”) is a comprehensive digital agribusiness management platform, part of the “Digital Agro” ecosystem of services. The solution is designed to increase productivity and allows to reduce the amount of losses of goods and materials and the influence of the human factor on any process. Using “Agrosignal” increases the profitability of the business by 25% or more, increases productivity by 15% and higher, reduces the cost of enterprises to 50%.

Through the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, the platform captures and processes data from a variety of sensors installed on agricultural machinery and workplaces online. The analysis of information allows more accurate planning of agricultural work, setting goals, monitoring their implementation and making operational decisions to managers, producers, financiers, agronomists and lawyers.

“Agrosignal” is used by more than 250 enterprises from 24 regions of Russia: the platform processes data from more than 4 million hectares, which is 5% of the total Russian farmland.
